Terms of Service

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Welcome to MyMathLearning, a program of Divide and Conquer Math Institute ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MyMathLearning website and applications available at mymathlearning.com (the "Service"), which is operated by Divide and Conquer Math Institute. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

MyMathLearning is designed for middle school classrooms (grades 6–8). Students under the age of 13 may use the Service only with the consent of a parent, legal guardian, or authorized school. Teachers and school administrators are responsible for ensuring appropriate consent is obtained before enrolling students.

2. Accounts

You may register as a teacher or a student. Teacher accounts require administrator approval before they can manage classes or student data. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information at registration and to keep it current.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any school or district policy;
  • Attempt to access another user's account, class data, or submissions without authorization;
  • Submit false, harmful, or inappropriate content in warm-ups, drawings, or relay answers;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service or its underlying systems;
  • Farm points, XP, or leaderboard results through automated or dishonest means.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (answers, drawings, class names, notes). You grant us a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service for you and your class. Teachers may view and manage student submissions within their own classes. We do not claim ownership of your educational content.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its method of generating, delivering, and grading interactive math warm-ups, is protected by intellectual property rights owned by MyMathLearning. A provisional patent application covering this method has been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the platform and related materials are marked accordingly as patent pending. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or use our proprietary methods outside the Service, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

6. Teacher & Student Roles

Teachers may create classes, assign warm-ups, and review student work for students enrolled in their classes. Students may join classes, complete assigned work, and view their own progress. Administrators may approve teacher accounts and manage platform-wide settings. We reserve the right to revoke access for accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice. Educational content is provided for practice and is not a substitute for licensed curriculum or professional instruction.

8. Termination

You may request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine pose a risk to the Service or its users.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to your school administrator or to the support contact provided with your account.
